GE Lighting Announces the Recall of 92,000 LED Tubes




On June 6, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s official website announced that GE Lighting has recalled two LED lamps due to the risk of electric shock.

The recalled product is a cool white universal T8/T12 LED lamp containing a package of 31243 LED lamps and 13T8U840 LED lamps. The number of recalls is 46,000, or 92,000 lamps. This type of lamp is mainly used in garages, basements, workshops, and utility rooms. The label next to the base of the lamp is printed with the GE logo and model information.
